Attention, with a purpose

We don’t sell interruptions.
We build introductions.

Think First is built for people who choose to stay with a question. Technology, culture, science, institutions, and human behavior give them plenty to consider. A good partnership earns its place in that inquiry.

  • What am I being asked to believe?
  • What does the evidence support?
  • What would change my mind?

What we can do together

More than
an ad read.

Start with the connection between your brand and the work. We’ll shape the format, scope, and timing around it.

01 / Introduce

Podcast sponsorship

A host-read introduction from Jim, with a clear reason the product or service belongs in front of Think First listeners.

Host-read placements · Episode or season partnerships

02 / Make possible

Underwrite the work

Help make a season, a Journal series, a public conversation, or a practical resource possible—with clear recognition of your support.

Publishing · Public inquiry · Accessible resources

03 / Build together

A broader partnership

Develop an ongoing presence across selected Think First formats. Bring a useful idea; we’ll explore where it belongs.

Custom integrations · Video and social where agreed · Sustained partnerships

Placements, deliverables, reporting, and any category exclusivity are agreed for each partnership.

Find the right fit

A little discernment on our side, too

We should probably
like what you do.

Seriously. Think First asks readers and listeners to examine claims and pay attention to incentives. It would be strange if we didn’t do the same with the brands we introduce.

  • A reason to belong.

A useful product, thoughtful service, or idea worth explaining. The fit should make sense to the people encountering it.

  • Claims we can stand behind.

Introductions should be specific and supportable. Any personal recommendation should reflect real experience.

  • Support with a clear boundary.

Commercial relationships are disclosed. Partners help make the work possible; editorial judgment stays with Think First.

Read our public commitments

Before we talk

A few useful details.

What should we send?

Your name, company, website, and a few lines about what you have in mind. Include timing and a budget range if you already have them. A clear introduction is enough to begin.

Can we discuss audience data and pricing?

Yes. Tell us which formats interest you so we can discuss the relevant audience figures, their reporting periods, available placements, and the scope of a proposal.

Is category exclusivity available?

Category exclusivity can be discussed as part of a partnership. The category, channels, duration, and any existing commitments need to be defined in the agreement.

Can we bring a custom idea?

Please do. A useful connection may lead to a format we haven’t listed here. We’ll begin with fit, then work through what it would take to make it well.

Start a conversation

You know your brand.
We know our audience.

Let’s see whether they belong in the same conversation. Tell us what you do and what you have in mind.
